A Note on the Fractional-Order Cellular Neural Networks

Abstract—This paper deals on fractional - order cellular
neural networks (CNNs). It is based on the well-known concept
of the CNNs, where mathematical model of the CNN consists
a fractional order derivative. Traditional first order cell is
replaced by fractional order (non-integer) one. We present
the method to derive such kind of the fractional order cell.
An illustrative example has been used to demonstrate and
investigate the existence of the fractional order CNN. We
present the fractional three-cell CNN where the total order
of system is less than three, namely 2.7, and the corresponding
state space trajectories are shown as well.

مطالعه­ اي بر روي شبكه­ هاي عصب سلولي مرتبه­ ي-كسري

چكيده

اين مقاله به مطالعه­يشبكه­هاي عصبي سلولي (CNNهاي) مرتبه­ي كسري مي­پردازد. اين مقاله بر اساس مفهوم شناخته شده­يCNNها است، كه در آن مدل رياضي CNN شامل مشتق مرتبه­ي-كسري است. بجاي سلول مرتبه­ي اولمتعارف، از نوعمرتبه كسري (غير صحيح) استفاده مي­شود. روشي را به منظور ايجاد چنين نوع سلول مرتبه كسري ارائه مي­كنيم. يك مثال تصويري براي نشان دادن و بررسي وجود CNNمرتبه­ي كسري استفاده مي­شود. CNN سه-سلولي كسري را كه در آن مرتبه­ي كل سيستم كمتر از سه (يعني 2.7)است و هم­چنين منحني­هاي مسير حالت فضايي را نيز ارائه مي­كنيم.
